Untamed complexity and mysteries,
They seem less tangled through you.
The answers to the riddle called love,
Do you find in me, what I’m finding in you?

Scarlet on your lips, coy in them eyes
And brave as I know you are.
Knit words into a thread of virtue
You tear down mountains with them,
You recite tales that make me move.

Thoughts in circles like bees around a daisy,
Miles keep rolling in my lonely mind.
Words that didn’t cross the bridge
Burnt with time, did you see them signs?

Listen to what your heart tells you to be.
I will hear the words that you hide,
I will read what your expressions conceal,
And you can let go of poems, prayers or promises
That you don’t feel.

Touch these weary eyes of mine,
Hold still these trembling hands.
And for once, growing old would feel fine,
Seeing your way converge to mine.

As I look upon the dawn
The sun is here but I still long, for my morning,
I wait, with a new reason each day
With my life ending one minute at a time,
I wait for you to find my way.
